CRANIAL SACRAL THERAPY  with Jenny Colebourne.

Cranial sacral therapy facilitates an even, rhythmic, vital flow of the cerebrospinal fluid. The cerebrospinal fluid moves in the spine and the skull, affecting the central nervous system (including the brain) and the sinuses. Cranial sacral therapy releases stresses in the body's diaphragms and the fascia system. This is a powerful technique effective in the treatment of a wide range of physical problems including headaches, back and neck tension, arthritis, stress, fatigue, gynaecological problems, sinusitis, TMJ dysfunction, learning difficulties and co-ordination.

"I started cranialsacral therapy with Jenny when I had chronic pain and musculoskeletal problems. Twenty years ago I had surgery to remove a tumor in the parotid gland and since then I had repeatedly had problems and arthritis in the temporomandibular joint. The treatment was astonishing! The muscle spasm around the joint was gone along with the chronic pain from which I suffered on an everyday basis. I was able to receive orthodontic treatment to balance the top and bottom teeth. I am chewing normally with no pain!"

SACRED SOUND SESSIONS with Jenny Colebourne.

Jenny followed a 10 year long apprenticeship with sound master Joe Tornabene culminating in a one year training with him giving her the right to teach as well as to give sound balancing sessions and to create sound balancing group healing events. Sound balancing requires the facilitator to move into a quiet space, state an intention and to tune into the energy body of the recipient. A sound is then produced that resonates with the vibration of the area of the body being addressed. Usually the sound is made by the voice. Bells, tuning forks, a sacred drum and singing bowls can also be used. There are sound balancing techniques to fine-tune the chakras, to bring out deep-seated memories including those of past lives. Sessions may evolve to the point where the recipient may also respond with sound and authentic movement occurs. Sound is a very powerful healing tool. The spaces or silences between the sounds are called ma and are equally as important as the sound itself.

SACRED SOUND CIRCLE with Jenny Colebourne

The Sacred Sound Circle works on developing the voice as a healing tool.  Vocal ranges, rhythm, the power of the spoken word, sound combined with authentic movement are some of the areas explored.  Strong group energy is created.

"I live very intense, full and meaningful moments when I participate in the sacred sound circle. Sometimes I experience memories of my life and sometimes I go into new, unique and amazing experiences. With Jenny’s help I go on a journey into myself in a truly magical way. Thank you."

An Ancient Healing Art

Hippocrates recommended a scented bath every day and a scented massage every week as the way to health.  The oils of Arabia were highly prized and their value could exceed that of diamonds or gold. Essential oils are nature’s medicine as well as her indulgence.  They are extracted from plants by steam distillation and are highly aromatic, concentrated, volatile and easily absorbed through the skin during massage.

Aromatherapy massage is a gentle, relaxing massage, working mainly on the surface muscles using gentle effleurage strokes to facilitate the absorption of the oils.   This allows for the release of tension from the body and can bring deep rest and rejuvenation.

Successful blending requires knowledge, intuition and a sensitive nose familiar with high quality therapeutic grade oils. An Aromatherapy blend will resonate harmoniously with the recipient of the massage.

The Fingertip Facelift

This is a very detailed massage of the face, neck, scalp and décolleté using the fingertips to release tension from the muscles and smooth out wrinkles from the fascia.  A Rejuvance treatment will help the face to regain its elasticity and freshness.

The full treatment is carried out over a series of 6 sessions which allows for the gradual release of old patterns and masks.

It is highly relaxing for the whole body and will often bring the recipient into a state of total relaxation and sleep.

Body in Balance

A unique treatment developed by and named after Mr. Tom Bowen (1903-1982) from Geelong, Australia.

During a Bowtech treatment the body is “reset” to remember its original blueprint of health. This therapeutic method of gentle and precise finger pressure applied to specific points on the body produces an integrated body response, improving circulation, lymphatic and venous drainage, assimilation of nutrients, elimination of toxins and joint mobility. Overall, Bowtech will boost the immune system helping the body to ward off colds, coughs and infections.

Of vital importance to this treatment are the pauses between each series of moves, which give the body time to respond.

These are some of the conditions that respond well to Bowtech:

Neck pain, migraines, headaches, backache, sciatica, knee injuries, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, respiratory problems, asthma, allergic rhinitis, gynecological problems, athletic injuries, anxiety and stress.

Corrections can occur spontaneously in the 3 to 5 days following a treatment and pain symptoms become a thing of the past.
